Sweet and sour german style chicken

1 kg chicken, cut up
3 tbsp oil
2 cup water
3 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp vinegar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
500g  cabbage, chopped
1/2 tsp. caraway seeds
1.Take a pan,heat the oil and brown the chicken pieces on mediun heat,for about 15 min

2.Combine water, brown sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper, pour over chicken. Cover for 20 minutes. Also stir during this time,then add cabbage and caraway seeds.
3.Cook until chicken and cabbage becomes soft,for about 15 minutes.
